I love making mini-albums from scratch. They’re so much fun and they spotlight designer paper so beautifully. Here’s one that I made last year using Graphic 45’s A Christmas Carol paper collection.
I loved working with this paper! All Graphic 45 paper is gorgeous, but this one, an homage to Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, is especially wonderful. I think this collection is retired now, but any paper collection could be used for this project. Some more eye candy:

This design is based on one by Denise Johnson, in which she used Graphic 45 Raining Cats and Dogs paper. So cute. Here are the directions for that one.
A couple of important (I think) changes that I made:
- I didn’t fold over the tags (for the waterfall album, see image above) on the bottom before putting it together. It was just too bulky, so I trimmed the tags to the correct sizes so the brads would just go through one layer for each tag.
- Instead of using a string closure, I used a brown Velcro circle to keep the book closed. Easier, in my opinion.
I hope you enjoy these photos, and that you’ll make a mini-album of your own!
Cheers,
